Why b London is making legendary waves in the music industry…

Who would’ve thought an underground space, hidden below the streets of Kensington, directly beneath one of London’s finest hotels, submerged under rows of white luxury real estate, in one of the most Boujis parts of London, would become one of the most popular nightclubs in this incredible city?

With a beyond vast array of options out there for a night out, the question is WHY? Why has B London become so popular, so quickly? Why do tickets vanish before your eyes and a majority of the time tables are completely sold out?

….B London has created a nightly programme that only established music venues have managed to pull off so far. Securing global DJ’s that the Gen Z’s, and even the Millennials want to get up off the sofa to enjoy. Has the standard ‘clubbing’ night gone out of style? Is it more about being immersed in the music and have a reason to create the FOMO content on TIKTOK … (all be it in the outfit that you would also probably wear on the sofa)?

After opening with a bang in March 2023, B London hit the ground running and welcomed the likes of Reznik, Adam Ten, Mita Gami and William Djoko and it wasn’t long before they secured the legendary Carl Cox for an epic night in partnership with charity; The Baobab School, raising a large sum of money which went to support children’s lives in Nairobi. Carl Cox filled the club, everyone was on the dance floor, phones at the ready and everyone was talking about it the day after, if you hadn’t missed it of course …

What was so great about the night anyway?

Ever been to a festival when you’re standing at the back and the DJ has become a dot, or you’ve found yourself trying to wade through the crowd at Printwork’s to get to the front, aggravating everyone in your path? Even Koko in Camden, you look up onto the stage wondering who you’ve got to jump into bed with (physically and/or metaphorically) to get a backstage pass?

…Well, you don’t need to worry about this at B London. Obviously once you’ve splashed out on your ticket (worth it even with the Resident Advisor fee) and as long as you don’t turn up totally ratassed, dressed like a homeless person or feel you need to be a knob to the door staff, you’re IN and before you know it your Rick Owens are sticking to the floor in VIP and your drying your favourite DJ’s sweat off with your Stussy T! You are in the room with them, you are part of their night, close enough to stroke them…although highly NOT recommended if you don’t want to be removed from the establishment… you’re catching their eye as they checkout the crowd and they know your there. There’s something to be said for feeling acknowledged by these artists, in an intimate setting, knowing you’re not being lost in the crowd and listening to music from the music industries finest.

B London didn’t stop at Carl Cox. Oh no…This was just a taster and I think they are still just playing with us and they’ve got more of the big boys to come!

Carl Cox’s sell out night has been followed by; are you ready for it …. Francis Mercier, Kaz James, Cole knight, Rossi, Emmanuel Jal (he actually climbed over the DJ booth), Maxi Meraki and Mont Rouge.

Have I name dropped enough? Simone De Kunovich, Toto Chiavetta, Tobias Lineker, Mayssa, Fiona, Ankhoi and of course their resident DJ; Guy D’Angelo (who can also be found at The Box and Maison Estelle) have also played on the B London decks in the last 8 months.

B London know their music, their artists (their cocktails) and are nailing a new model for ‘clubbing’ and I can’t wait to see what else is in store for this slick venue!

The original motto for the club was to be a club for ‘all generations’ and it really is!
